Re: Smelly Aircon
I changed the filter then set off one of the many sprays you can buy (I used a Comma one). I use one of the sprays every six months in my cars and that seems to keep on top of any smells. I had an Astra once that had clearly never been looked after and it took three sprays over a month to get it to ...

There is a slot in my boot lid for a key on our CC, I assumed other Meganes had the same?

Re: I cant get in my car!
Have you not had any luck with the key in the door then? How about going using the key on the boot instead and climbing through there?

Re: 2.0 ltr 16v VVT Dynamique
We have the CC version with this engine and get 38mpg on motorway runs. I find it to be a very good engine, which enjoys an odd treat of Shell V-Power if you are feeling flush.

Re: leaky boat
Those covers just unclip (although need a bit of force). I would remove them and you should be able to see better where the water is coming from.

Re: Intermittent ac problem
I would also go with the sensor. The repalcements seem to be designed differently with metal internals rather than the original plastic. It sorted out intermittant problem with a/c and doesn't cost much to eliminate it if you buy from eBay.

I am afraid that is the price. In fact that's cheaper than my local dealer.

Re: Megane won't start using brake pedal
Are your brake lights coming on when you push the pedal? If not then it will probably be the brake pedal switch.
Reversing lights not sure about I'm afraid, but how did it pass an MOT with them on permanently?

Re: "CHECK INJECTION"
In our case the same occassional error was due to faulty coil packs. Changed those and the spark plugs with no recurrance in about 4000 miles so far. Ours is also the 2.0l petrol CC.

Wind deflector - It really works
Just fitted the genuine Renault wind deflector for our 2004 CC and the difference is very impressive. We bought from a seller on eBay and it arrived quickly. It looks much better quality than the non-genuine ones and for ~£190 inc P&P they aren't much different in price.
