On Sunday the car started as normal, 15 minutes into a drive it stopped. No splutter or hunting just stopped as if someone had flicked a switch to an electrical a...

Re: Estate Rear End Rattle

check the plastic trim that is attached to the boot. over time it tends to bend a little (is plastic...). With the car vibration, the one produced at low speeds, its the right "tune" for that plastic to vibrate and touch against the boot metal structure. Try to put a thick paper between th...

Re: ESP retro-fit

retro-fit is possible and ive seen it done, but requires some patience. im stuck on the part to obtain a ABS+ESP module at a fair price (i will not give 50€ or more to units that goes everyday to the press machine along with the car..) to go forward. you'll need: ESP/ABS Module with 44 pins Wiring l...

Re: Speedo Issue

change the speedo from a scrap yard one is the cheap and best option.

about the blower is a well documented issue here in the forum, make a search around and you will find more help, i think it even includes ways to repair it instead of buying a new blower

good luck

Re: Sump removal advice - 1.9dci (120) 2004

if you have the tools and the ramp it will not be dificult, but you must be aware that you should remove all the oil 1st (saying this just to make sure, i think you already know this :) ) and get a new sump gasket, most of times the gasket break and you have to put a new one. besides this i think yo...

Re: Electric Power Steering + More

Unfortunally the steering column is a part that fails a little bit more than usual (like other parts in this car...). If it's becoming faulty maybe is time to search for another one. You can use a steering column from another car as long as you reprogram it to use it in your car. the only way to be ...
