Thanks for the replies. It does work out much cheaper than taking a cab to and from the airport plus a hate being driven by strangers.

I'll be away abroad for 5 weeks and the megane will be parked at the airport long stay outdoor carpark. Just wondering if the battery will be okay when I came back to retrieve the car. I do have AA recovery but will be nice not needed them.

I thought this was a Honda, or a Toyota? It even has a hint of Lexus LS about it... but it certainly doesn't look french! I seriously hope this isn't the route Renault is taking. Must have bagged a bargain then paying £2600 for a 2004 estate priviledge on 77K with most of the options ticked. After 8 weeks and 2000 miles I'm going quite fond of it.

I have the same engine in my car and while i'm yet to notice significantly delayed throttle response, i have to say it pretty gutless below 1.5K revs. Does pick up quite well at higher revs though.
