Re: Glove box won't open
Yeh I thought that initially, but it remained stuck. However, it opened today with some pursuation, and a metal rod maybe 3mm in diameter and about 80mm long fell out. Glove box won't open
I have a 54 plate Megane CC and I can't get the glove box to open. At first I thought it was a problem with the deadlocking, but now I'm not so sure.
Anyone have similar problems?
Cheers

Re: Wind Deflectors
Yes it is a lot wider from what I can see, although the genuine part covers the rear seats better and is shaped to the contours of the back rest.

Here's some links to photos. I didn't want to put the photos in the post as they are a bit on the big side https://www.sub-lime.net/wp-content/gallery/megane-cc/photo0427.jpg https://www.sub-lime.net/wp-content/gallery/megane-cc/photo0428.jpg https://www.sub-lime.net/wp-content/gallery/megane-cc/pho...

Re: Wind Deflectors
Yeh it fits well, has 2 sliding bolt type pegs that locate in the rear quarters, and 2 feet that rest in the seat belt slots in the back rest. I'll take some photos and see if I can put them up here

Re: 2005 2.0 automatic gearbox problem
My 2008 model had the same problem after 3 months. Took it back to the dealers and had a diagnostic done on it. Told me the only thing logged on the computer was "High gearbox oil pressure". No idea why, took it for 40 mile drive at my expense and gave it me back. It's done it a few times...

Re: Wind Deflectors
I wouldn't say mine is windless. At 6'3" my head catches the breeze, but to be honest, that's part of the fun

Re: 2005 2.0 automatic gearbox problem
I'm having the exact same problem with mine. It did the clunk and warning light once only, and is now failing to change up gears, meaning the engine is revving it's nuts off long after I've got up to speed and taken my foot off the gas. It does evetually change up, but not after wasting precious pet...

Re: Engine upgrade
Thanks for the thoughts guys. I had also considered all the things you mentioned jak01, that's why I was hoping someone might have already pioneered the swap, to get an idea of the pitfalls, and if indeed it is possible.

Engine upgrade
Hi all, newbie here
Can anyone tell me if you have sucessfully installed a RS225 engine in a CC?
Also, can you marry it to a 2.0 auto box?
Potential future project.....
Cheers
