Door sill protectors

The drivers side silver door sill protector went today - the metal lifted off at one end and despite best efforts with superglue to be honest it looks a mess.

Does anyone know where I can buy just one of these. Everywhere I have seen comes in the standard 2 pack.

Cheers

Re: Engine stalls when idling

Hi Damon, Its a common fault, especially after a cold start. Mine revs and as soon as engage reverse the revs drop quite considerably, and is like a boneshaker until it warms up. It is fine somedays when standing start and others it's as jumpy as zebedee. To improve overall best to clean the throttl...

Re: Dephaser Pulley - Renaults Response and need help to claim.

Cheers guys for your thoughts. Renaults response was unbelievable. To change the design as you say shows there was a problem hence the countless probs on this forum. I like a challenge and will not let this lay. I will let you know how I get on.

Fuel and power query

Having had a 1.8 Diesel Focus for the last 4 years I was hooked on the looks of the Megane and went for the 1.6 petrol 2005 Dynamique VVT. After 2 weeks of ownership and a couple of dashes on the M1 motorway I would be grateful of any advice of members on the following queries. Whilst on the motorwa...

Seperate warranty cover purchase? Is it worth it?

After 5 days of ownership already had a broken keycard (DIY fix done) and a window which wouldnt open (but now after 2 days decided it will work normally!!). As it seems there are quite a few reoccuring probs - ie regulator, dephaser, coils etc etc has anyone had any experience or bought one of thes...

Re: Gear knob

I'm watching a couple of 5 speed inserts on Ebay at the moment - even with a day to go both have topped £10 and looking at completed listings it has been the £25-27 mark!!! EEEkkk, if someone had a bit of time, bit of money and a bit of knowhow then they could be onto a winner. :-)

Re: Electric Window Problems

My passenger side window has suddenly packed up so looks like the same here. Does anyone have any views/experiences if it is covered on a standard 30 day parts and labour warranty issued by a dealer? I only got the car 4 days ago and on the electrics it mentions starter motors, washer motors etc but...

Starting Problems

Just bought a 2005 1.6 16v VVT Dynamique megane. Great car apart from start up from cold. As I work ahifts including early mornings and late nights its something I need to sort asap. Revs drop quite considerably and have to rev high to pull off. Also 1st gear is incredibly jerky. I have read many po...
