i agree with the best thing being a full remap, stronger clutch/flywheel, maybe a little improvement with the respiration (in/out)of the engine?
whats your mpg like after your remap etc. 160bhp sounds fun.

Owned my megane for nearly 3yrs its a dci 1.9 2003 with nearly 140k (70k in my ownership)on the clock, drives very well. so i decided to buy another megane dci :nut its a 2006 dci 1.5 59k (106) dynamique, bringning it home on the weekend, was wondering is there anything i should keep an eye out for....

just an idea; have a look at your rear dampers to make sure that they arent leaking or anything, if one corner isnt damping properly/relative to other corner then can also allow the rear end to step out while your off the power on a turn???

is there any play in the steering?? ie, ball joints, steering rack/column, are the wheels on properly (dont mean to funny)

so..... got the car home yday eve while being very light on the accelerator. got my head down the footwell, and noticed a spring that looks like a valve spring that push's the clutch pedal back was broken, but that wasnt the whole problem, as the spring mechanism had no compression one side swivles ...
