Sounds like you need a new window regulator. Ive the same problem with the passenger window and this is what was diagnosed.
Just a guess - perhaps the more knowledgable could elaborate ???

For the record, the BATTERY LOW light has not come on since Saturday now but the car is due to go back in to the dealer to get a new key programmed and a new window regulator fitted at the same time.
