Thats right. Your supposed to press the clutch or brake but its starting without any of these pressed now.

Its really strange.

The car starts as soon as I press start without pressing the clutch or brake.

It is really strange.
While it makes the noise I pressed the cambelt cover and can hear grinding.

Sorry I'm not sure which Valvoline oil you are referring to.

The one i am talking about is https://www.valvolineeurope.com/uploadedFiles/5160.pdf which is Valvoline SynPower 5W40

I am sure this is a Fully synthetic oil which is MB229.5 I believe.

Is this not suitable for extended drain?

In response to your previous reply where you stated to use fully synthetic oil 0w30/40 for a extented drain.

Is it safe to use Valvoline Fully Syn 5w30/40 for an extended drain?

Hi Alex,

The old ignition coils bought up the EML light hence why i replaced all 4 of them but the light still flashes.

Grease was applied so we can rule out the coils.

Going to order some spark plugs today and see if that resolves the issue.

Is Cylinder 3 the third from the left or right?

Also i would like to say, every morning my car idle drops on its own and nearly stalls before coming back up again.

I have plugged in a professional tool compared to the elm and it has reported DF092 which is upstream oxygen sensor. Could this be causing it?

I have read your post about the grease and have even asked renault for it and they want 38+Vat which i think is quite pricey.

Can i use Krytox 205 for both silicone and rubber to be on the safe side?

I may just do that if it is very important to grease them.

Hi Alex, There is 1 o2 sensor which alternates fast. Is this the one I should be looking at? I can try taking a laptop after work and checking the o2 sensor after the journey today. Also i have ordered 4 Valeo Ignition Coils to see if this fixes the issue. In my mind i believe it to be the VVT again...
