Thanks Rich, great photo guide! Does anyone know of a similar photo guide in a thread to replace the wires on the back of the clutch pedal so I can start the Megane by pressing the clutch? Renault would like to charge me £38.35 for the pleasure! I understand its another common fault on the Megane II...

Thanks for your help guys, yesterday I poked a metal rod that just about fit through the plastic holes in the grill by the wipers. It cleared the drain which was on the passenger side and once cleared there was a wush of water as it all drained out onto the floor. Thanks again :-) Hopefully problem ...

As an update to my on going megane clutch saga, I got the car back yesterday. The garage were happy that now the master cylinder has been fitted that they were no longer loosing the pedal and the clutch remained constant.
