Re: Line out converter to power a sub - help
Ulrich is right, the rears need to be lost in order for the LLC to be connected, whatever you do make sure you dont splice into the speaker wire and leave the rears working as this will overload the head unit and do it damage in time. As far as losing sound quality goes to be honest I have found no ...

Re: Line out converter to power a sub - help
Hi mate, I have just finished installing a sub etc into my megane using standard head unit and an LLC, it works brilliantly and you now can't wipe the smile off my face! I now have a standard looking interior with great sounding tunes. One way to get the rear speakers back is to run the RCA lead fro...

Keep up the good work and make sure you keep taking those pics, you're a genius!

Re: 2003 megane head unit conundrum
Thanks Anthony, though I am gutted I need to split the signal from the rears as its bound to affect quality. I'm going have a play with this and post back to let anyone that might consider doing the same thing. Seems a waste to lose the steering column controls and a 6 disc changer to run an amp. I ...

2003 megane head unit conundrum
Hi does anyone know if the head unit (I think its referred to as 'tuner list') has RCA outputs in order to run an amp? If there isn't can anyone advise on how to link up an amp for a subwoofer without losing a channel from the standard speakers? I don't want to change the standard head unit as I hav...
