Re: Parcel Shelf Problems

Not a clue as to if this will help or not guys but here goes - when I picked up my current Meg the parcel shelf was playing up as per the above. I still had my 05 1.4 Dynamique for a couple of days so I swapped the shelves over. Perfection! Two years later - no problems at all! Is it possible that t...

Re: Shock Horror!!

Thanks for your replies guys, Iain - police did the usual, including the scenes of crime stuff (fingerprints etc). They are keeping me informed but if the guy did leave prints, the problem is that if he is not known to them (in other words his prints have never been recorded) there is not much chanc...

Shock Horror!!

Hi all, I recently had to have my windscreen and panoramic sunroof (front section) replaced by Autoglass as a result of utter mindless vandalism. I won't go into detail, but needless to say that some people posess the brain power of a gerbil! Anyway, while speaking to the Autoglass techie who did my...

Re: Hello Newbie Alert !

Welcome Fern, hope your 225 will be ok - they go like stink and look fantastic too! I think Jonault has outlined everything you need to check before you buy, but one thing he missed was to beware the Renault dealers, (known around here as "stealers"!). Yours may be ok, but most are operati...

Re: Lubricate folding door mirrors?

Thanks for that, I appreciate that WD40 is not the best product to use and I already have some silicone grease I bought for the slides on my sunroof. What I really need to know is how to get it in there! :-(

Thanks for your reply anyway.

Lubricate folding door mirrors?

Re: Clutch Shudder.....:(

Had exactly the same problem with my old 1.4. It always happened when it was wet the night before, I did post it on here and from what I remember other members put it down to water (or damp to be more precise) making a rusty patch on the clutch plate that would wear off with use, (similar to brake d...
