Re: Is there any megane picture competitions on this site?
Would it just have to be limited to Megane pics? Why not have a section for photography with a monthly competition, winner gets to chose topic for following month and the winner for that month. This format is run on another forum I used to go on and had quite a good turn out of good pics every month...

On closer inspection the carpet is wet from pedals to rear on driver side :banghead Checked rear and found water in spare tyre well a...

Re: brake pads
I forgot to say, after having other named pads and having them rattle I would suggest to get oem pads, just to avoid the annoying rattle!! Drove me insane! I use Pagid brake pads. These with a generous load of copper grease on the rear for the piston/housing mating faces and have no probs with ratt...

Re: brake pads
Try a few local motor factors just don't bother with the renault dealerships as always over priced.
Brakes are easy enough do yourself, search for threads on here am sure there's a few. Also the best thing you can invest in if you plan on doing any work on a car yourself is a Haynes manual.

GT5 lap times
Was doing the Mazda MX5 endurance race and after settling down after getting in the lead glanced at my lap times. Don't think I'll be able to match 3 laps that consistant again. Time to drift away from GT5 to fps games for a bit me thinks :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/rjacko/DSC00368.jpg

Good to hear you got it running and was just a fuse.
Better luck with your choice of garage next time.

Sounds like tool defo shorted something out. First port of call to check battery is ok, then all fuses and relays.
Good luck with it, and hope your holding the garage accountable for any costs incurred to repair it.

Re: Front Discs Renewal
As stated above its easy enough to do discs / pads change yourself as save yourself a load of money. Plenty of threads on here about it, but a Hayne's manual is the best thing you could invest in.

Re: Front Discs Renewal
If its driven hard or driven with no engine braking thats not bad. Our 8 years old megane was done at 2 years old at 30k and again 5 years later at 60k. Yes it was driven like a rally car in its early years which brought around them being changed at 30k. Tho last change was required as they were bad...

Yeah, get loads on the scuttle panel. Problem is there are trees at the side of my drive, so it's quite bad in autumn.
