Great cars, crap electrics. I have the GT 150 DCI. Have had it since mid march and its already had a brand new dashboard fitted and im awaiting a rear seatbelt pre tensioner thats causing the airbag warning light and message to light up. Its a shame that Renault didnt pay attention to the electrics....

Lol I had a couple of electrical issues, trip comp froze and the dash didnt light up one night.

Been into the dealers and it needs a ful new dash, which is getting fitted next tuesday

We have a tyre place here in Lanarkshire who even undercut blackcircles and mytyres including fitting. God only knows how he maneges it (probably best not to ask me thinks!!!!)

I did have the 1.5 DCI Meg until recently and I never had any such problems that you describe.

Would need to agree with Boysie on the lack of low down grunt, you really need to be thrashing it to 4000rpm to get any significant pulling power. I have a black Megane GT DCi 150 and I love it, its amazing.

Done 1k miles in (3 weeks old) and im getting 50-55 Mpg which is pretty good for the 2.0L

It really wants to go, you accelerate and it doesnt want to stop.

I would recommend one

I must be re ally fortunate, my megane is an 04 plate and has done 40k only problem was a loose indicator light bracket and a back wiper motor, which were all done under warranty.

Only other replacements

1 full set of tyres and then one set of fronts
full brake pad replacement
