Re: Service
Depends which service your after. Yearly (filters, oil change, coolant flush and refill etc) your looking at £130ish at most garages, around £200 at Renault. However if its a 72000 service (includes cam belt etc) your looking at £800 at Renault, £500 at K-tec or somewhere like that.

Re: my megane
Looks pretty sweet mate, I like the wheels although could do with being 2 or 3 inches bigger!
But yeah get the mud flaps off, invest in some Eibach springs (unless it's already lowered - hard to tell with small wheels) and rip those mud flaps off and she'll be looking good

Re: Thought I'd best introduce myself...
Thank you all for the nice comments. And I love the first pic MeganeDynamique, was taken by my 17 yr old mate on a Nikon DSLR not bad ay?
Site's already helped me change a headlight without taking the bumper off as I was told you have to by various people.

Re: CUSTOM INDUCTION KIT ON A dCi
That's a fair point, and i suppose i should remember that this is a 1.5 dci not a 175 or something, but still you want your engine to breathe as freely as possible, and the cooler the air entering the intake the more of it there will be. Just my two pence that personally I would prefer my car to be ...

That's a nice piece of work mate, should have kept the Renault badge though!!
But apart from that it's nicely done, a million times better than the liquid yellow 1.4 that lives round my way with an STX kit and red and black gradient tinted windows with silver stars on them!

Re: Engine Transplant
meganes engines bit more harder due to the electrics as most people will say there a pain in any reno engine i think mate dropped old reno 19 engine into a metro just the electrics is pissing him off but i'd say the megane will be a fair bit harder due to what it consits of if you've the background...

Re: CUSTOM INDUCTION KIT ON A dCi
Like R55VYS said, you'll probably have lost BHP by doing that as your engine's gonna be sucking a whole lot of hot air from now on. I would HIGHLY recommend either moving the cone, installing a carbon heat sheild and cold air intake or at least just an intake running to the kit so it has some sort o...

Re: dci remap?
Don't think anyone's mentioned KTEC in the south, it's about 500 yards from the border of Dorset and Hampshire and is a Renault specialist.
All the lads up there seem like nice blokes and all know their stuff about Renaults, so if your down south you might wanna check them out.

Thought I'd best introduce myself...
Hello everyone Just joined, thought i'd introduce myself quickly. I'm Ash i'm 19 from Portsmouth and drive a Megane DCI 120 with 150bhp remap, Remus stainless straight through twin exit, full skirts, Eibach springs (not low enough! But sadly i'm a bit short of £850 for some Bilstein B12s), 18" ...
