Oil Grade for 1.9 dci
Hi everyone,
I Have a megane 1.9dci sedan and it is using massive amounts of oil. I have been constantly filling it up with helix 5w40.
My question is... If i switch over to 20w50 will this help reduce oil consumption and, will it harm my turbo in any way.
Thanks in advance....

Re: bonnet wont open?
Hi,
You can remove the grill and get to it from there.
Its quite fiddly but i managed to open it from there once the grill was out .
My bonnet cable jumped out ...

Re: Air-con and wheels!
hi , i agree with using the long nose pliers to undo the wheel cap . i use that or diagonal cutter pliers .
Had a couple meganes that didnt come with the key for the wheels.

Re: Strange air con problem
that is a strange problem
i think try keep the revs up a bit and see if it keeps it cold, i had a megane that idled a bit low and the aircon seemed to warm up a bit when standing in traffic but once the revs were up a bit it returned to being cold

if i remember correctly they are there.
Re: Radio Ant
i once removed one out of a megane cc to respray the boot lid ,
there is a rubber cover on the inside of the boot lid that you can remove to get access to the nut for the antenna end . Easy job

Re: service and airbag light
check the connections under the front seats or if you undid the steering rack knuckle could be that you damaged the slip ring. ( the ring behind the steering wheel where the indicator stalk and wiper stalk sit on )

Re: Fuel Filler Solenoid removal
I havent removed it on my cc before but i removed it on the hatch.
i think if you take the wheel off and then the wheel arch cover off ,
you will probably be able to get to it from there .
