had exactly the same problem few days ago, engine racing away, broken turbo etc. was told by towtruck driver the best thing to do is put it into top gear and allow the car to stall, engine is revving even harder when the clutch is in as there is no load on it. after reading up on this it seems to be...

just been informed that i need a new turbo on my 03 1.9dci, quoted £595 plus vat just to buy the turbo, and with fitting, oil, labour etc a bill of well over £900 is pending. just wondered if i could source a turbo myself, how much would it be, and whats the best place to get one, maybe reconditione...

radio display

the radio/clock display in the centre of my dash has been pushed in (borats cousin at the local car wash)......still visible but just dangling behind the opening. wondering if i can remove the section that houses the display. is it screwed in? clipped on? do i need to remove the other sections below...

i had a similar problem with my cd changer............was full of discs but wouldn`t play them or eject them. i removed the changer, you need tools to slide into the two slots in the front of the unit, on the back of the unit is a block connector, i unplugged it and refitted it, even held it upside ...

just had to have a new steering lock fitted, started with the car refusing to start and the message steering locked on the dash. called friendly renault garage and was told a new steering lock was around £180, plus vat plus fitting. anyway, checked with the main dealer and they said the lock was now...

hi, i have a similar problem, however i have all four buttons sticking, just got back from my local(ish) renault indy, very helpful, and been quoted about £70 per door,,,,( i think the part is £15 +vat and labour ) also no point just changing one, cause the others would still be stuck..........so £3...
