Cheers for the reply R55VYS, but I have tried that and nothing happens. I have even tried leaving the door open a bit to see if mine squeels, but nothing!

Which Megane's have an Alarm??????

As above, I was reading a post earlier about a squeeling noise and it turns out that it was the bonnet was open and that the alarm was informing them when they locked the car. So I was just wondering if my car has an alarm? Maybe it is switched off? I have had a quick look at the spec of my car on a...

Yeah mate, the car is totally standard.

The parts dept. at Gateshead Benfield are sh@t! I think they get a new trainee every time i call.

If you have any dealings with them ask to speak to Keith, he seems to be the man in the know.

Hi Russ, I know that the earlier models 03> had a recall as the rear window where coming loose and smashing (obviously)!!! I have no idea if 2005/6 models have the same problem but I assumed that they would have fixed that by now. Ring your dealers and ask to speak to the workshop manager, they are ...

Welcome to the club Richard. I to have a 1.5dci 86 and I love it to bits.

As you have already stated, good MPG, £35 for 12mths tax and low insurance.

Hi there XCZ, the tremmer through your car may be due to the tracking or balancing. Try you local ATS to sort that out.

As for the pipe, it may be part of your air induction for the car.

This is just my opinion of what I would check first.

BTW, welcome to the club

Hi there R55VYS, which dealers in Newcastle did you go to for the grilles? ( I am assuming you mean the RS grilles)

Benfield Gateshead quoted me just short of £100 for the undertray section of the bumper, when I ran a bird over on the motorway and it destroyed mine!

Mine is around the same as yours Iain, although never up to 66mpg.

As far as I recall 62mpg was my highest and that was sitting behind a lorry, doing 55mph afetr my bumper smashed when I ran a partridge over!
