Just wondering what oil to use a a 1.9Dci 54 plate with 47k as I have been told by my mate that the one Renault say is the wrong one

Ive just had a look in the manual and direction defaillante is the warning for a problem with the power steering, but that said it could be. I cant find your error code in the book.

Have you checked the steering fuild?

Hi Guys, My passenger side seat belt is driving me nuts as it sqeeks when I have a passenger in the car, when I have no one in the car its fine so I guess its the mech sqeeking as the seat belt is moving. I had the same problem all be it on a 1.9 and not at 70mph, its turned out it was a dead glow plug, might be worth checking its dead easy and there is a really good guide on here

Idle speed

Hi Guys

Anyone know if its poss to increase the idle speed? I have a 1.9 Dci and first thing in the morn it runs nice but when at lights it drop to about 750 revs and shakes the car, when warm she revs at 800 and sits there lovley,

So can it be done?

1.9 dci gear knob/incert

HI,

Got me Meg last Monday and the gear knob has worn numbers, I have just been to renault and they say £50.50 for a new one, well bugger that.

So to my question, can you just get the insert? the renault guy did not know and if not will any gear knob fit?
