Re: Vibrating sunroof

Neil, do you want to do a 'how to' to help those of us who have this problem?

It's caused by the wear on the rubber slider that's at the torx screw. Driving me mad but I refuse to give Renault £90 for a simple little piece of rubber.

Re: What Does This Part Number Relate To?

Thanks Jaspa, these are exactly the parts I'm looking for although I'm not keen on the £90 price tag.

What Does This Part Number Relate To?

7701209744 I've got an issue with my panoramic roof rattling and letting in wind. I phoned up the Stealers and tried to explain that the rubber pads that slide in the grooves when the roof is opened, have deteriorated and would I be able to get some new ones. He gives me a quote of £160 for 'sunroof...

Re: Right Side Front Indicator Problem

I had the same problem and it was put down to the bulb holder and not the bulb. £15 at the Stealer should sort out this annoying problem for you. It did play up again after a few days but this was put down to a loose wire and since then I've had no problem at all.

Re: Panaramic sunroof

I have to agree. The rattle and wind ingress from my sunroof has been driving me crazy so I undid both screws and took a look at the sliders. The rubber pads on both sides where badly worn and not giving a tight fit which leads to my irritating problem of rattles and wind noise. Does anyone know the...

Time To Get Everything Fixed

Hi Guys, Just had a service done on the car and the grage noted quite a few things wrong. I'll list the problems and if you would be so kind, could you give me the best potion for replacement or a ball park figure on how much the repair should cost? Anyhoo, on with the problems. Rear pads and disks ...

Steering Wheel Clicking

Hi Guys,

My steering wheel has started making a series of clicking noises every time I turn the wheel. It almost sounds like a ratchet. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Re: Wind noise

Yep, the noise is horrendous and wind starts whistling into the cabin as soon as my speed reaches 70mph. I think I'll need to go back to my dealer as the problems with my car are just mounting.

Re: Stickies for fuel consumption

1.9 DCi is usually around 46mpg while driving around town but on motorways, if I stick to 60mph it rises to 60mpg.

Re: Calling all Parents

It's worked out fine for me. I would never have had the cash or the house that I do now if I had started a family in my twenties.

Re: Dynamique Headlights

I have auto headlights and wipers but I don't have the electrochrome mirror. Was the mirror optional on 55 plates are am I missing something that I should have?

Re: Wing Mirror Cover

I had an idiot drive too close on a street full of parked cars and he whacked my mirror before speeding off. This resulted in a large crack on the mirror cover and a break in the grey plastic in the front corner of the window. My local Renault garage offered to replace the mirror cover and the windo...
