Re: Has anyone fitted after market heated seats pads ?
Chaps, I sold my CC in February, so can't comment on how the heated seats are holding up.. I do remember that the wiring was pretty simple as I was able to get the power from the connector for the factory heated seats. I can't tell you which cable was what, I used a multimeter with the ignition on -...

I'm done with my Megane CC
After 36k miles of mostly trouble free motoring, I've gone back to an Audi Cabriolet.. I now have the dilemma of what do do with all my mods.. I'll probably remove the following and list them in the for sale section.. Autodipping rear view mirror Alpine display & steering interface Xenon self-le...

Re: ECU Piggyback Tuning Box for Diesels
I keep track of my MPG using 'Road Trip' on my iPhone..
I've cropped the screen so you can't see how much I've actually spent on fuel and servicing / modification expenditure as well.

Re: out of control engine.....please help!!!
I'm afraid that does sound like turbo failure..
A quick Google for 'Renault 1.9 dci turbo failure' will bring up many reports of the same set of events..

Re: cruise control
To make it look factory fitted, the cruise buttons can be fitted to your existing steering wheel. It is possible to cut your existing airbag around the switches, but it won't look very good (I put up with it for a couple of weeks, then bought the proper airbag). You will need a new stalk assembly wi...

Re: wind deflector....
I have a plexiglass deflector fitted to the rear headrests..
It does allow the rear seats to be used, which the fabric deflector blocks, but isn't very effective.
When it's just me in the car (which is most of the time) I used the renault fabric deflector.

Waeco Magic Comfort MSH50 heated seats installed
I said I wouldn't, but then I was getting bored and thought that the winter would be a cold one. http://www.mammon.org.uk/MeganeCC/switches.jpg I was going to try to find the factory seat elements and switches, but I decided that for 60 quid, I'd rather have brand new elements, with two heat setting...

Re: Xenon retrofit - assistance required
So I've had my xenon lights for a few months now and I'm very pleased.. I made up a wiring loom for the rear level sensor and had Wests in Cambridge calibrate the light motors, so it's all good. They power on, the motors move the lights all the way up, then down to the correct level. All is good. Ho...

Re: roof adjustment on a cc
It probably is possible, but unfortunately none of us have been able to source the instructions or any documentation on the roof operation..
There aren't any PDFs available so at the moment, the roof is pretty much a Renault dealer only adjustment item..

Re: Cd stuck in cd charger
different tool required then..
Try sticking in a couple of cable ties / lolly sticks / anything flat and long enough to disengage the locking parts..

Re: Xenon retrofit - assistance required
After removing the passenger seat and looking under there and not finding it, I checked under the rear seat again..
There it is.. above the fuel tank sender..
I was expecting it to be on the other side..

Xenon retrofit - assistance required
I think I mentioned in a recent post that I'm going to fit Xenon lights to my Phase 1 CC. I'm getting closer to having all the bits together and am starting to work up a plan. The front height sensor is easy enough as the plug is already present (although will need quite a bit of cleaning up as it's...
