Re: What size spacers??
At the rear I think the easiest way is that you put three people on the backseat, another two or three on the trunks edge and then measure the space between arch and tire. At the front you can take a long bar that goes across the wheel up the arch´s end and then simply measure with a ruler the dista...

Re: RS 250 alloys on 2012 Megane 1.6 Dynamique
PCD is the same but the RS wheels have an off-set of 65. The wheels of the normal versions have an off-set of 47 for the 16" versions and 49 for the 17" ones. So not to rub inside or at the suspension spacers are required in my opinion.

Re: Blow off valve 1.5DCi Diesel?
A blow off valve makes in a diesel no sense, because the throttle has not the same function like in a gasoline engine. In a diesel it is not responsible to adjust the engine´s load (here it´s only the injected fuel mass). The purpose of the throttle valve in a diesel is for adjusting the exhaust gas...

Re: 225 stock exhaust under 1.6 16V / sport exhaust manifold?
I had the opportunity to get very cheap a Sebring rear silencer. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Megane-Scenic-ABGASANLAGE-Sportauspuff-Sebring-2x76mm-Neu-7711237062/172555772855 (offer €85,- accepted) Unfortunately it was the version for the hatchback and not the Grandtour. But as I had to modify...

Re: Rear brake discs
Hi, here is an overview with the partnumbers. The pads are the same, but also the calipers itself have different partnumbers not only the carriers. http://halbmeterpruegelanlage.de/bilder/car/brakes_meganeII.JPG But anyway I would like to give you the advice to be carefull with the rear brakes, as t...

Re: GEARBOX change on MEGANE II 1.6 16V (longer 5th gear or 6th gear)
You can normally install all 5th gear-wheel pairs with a longer ratio from all JH3/JR5/JB3/JC5 gear boxes. Normally you should have a JH3-142 gear box with the ratio of 37/33 for the 5th. (see page 21 here: https://philch.free.fr/clio/clio3/MR392CLIO2.pdf ) If you would install for example the 39/32...
Re: DAB
I have such a small device https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAMA-Plug-Play-Car-DAB-Digital-Radio-Adapter-with-FM-Transmitter-AUX-IN-OUT-/121539306376 in my lighter socket, that I modified a little bit (installed a real coax-cable for antenna, because the original is only an unshielded wire... :? ) and a w...

Re: Twingo RS inlet-manifold + Throttle on 1.6 16V
No, in a 1.6l engine I would not use the 64mm throttle, even if it is the real Twingo RS engine. The 64mm throtle in my opinion is only a option for Clio II RS Ph2+3 and for Clio III RS. If you put the Twingo RS manifold with the 60mm throttle on a normal 1.6l engine of the Mégane II you already inc...

Yes that´s correct, Twingo RS TB works fine with MeganeII 1.6 firmware.
Here is a small overview:

Re: Twingo RS inlet-manifold + Throttle on 1.6 16V
O.K., now I see and I understand. You are not speaking of the throttle of ClioII 1.6 (because you wrote "this is a modernized motor from clio 2 1.6"), you speak of the throttle of MéganeII 1.6, or ClioIII 1.6. That´s clear, they are not compatible and you need the ECU from MéganeII. But I ...

Re: Twingo RS inlet-manifold + Throttle on 1.6 16V
For me it´s all a little confusing what you write, may be it´s due to translation problems, I´m not a native english speaker, too. And I can not see in your picture if you have now a mechanical, or electrical throttle. The Clio RS intake-manifold is a nice solution, even if I think sealing is not so...
