Folding Rear Seats
Hi All - for the first time since I've had my 3 door hatch - I've need to fold down the rear seats. The smaller side, folds totally up out of the way, and the seat back goes down flat. However, the larger side seems to be clipped to the floor, and I can't find a release for it.. Can anyone tell me i...

i-pod jack plug
I was thinking of getting a jack plug fitted in the car for my i-pod.
Is there an aftermarket kit for this ? or does anyone have an idea of a company that could quote me (in the North Home Counties area)
Thanks

Re: radio codes...
I believe the codes are all unique...I found mine on a sticker at the fron of the srevice book, so if you have the original docs., have a good look through them
Otherwise, I think you will have to pay a visit to your main dealer and get them to read it for you (take your log book when you go)

The only stupid question......
.....is the one that isn't asked (please forgive me !) This is the first winter I've had my car, and it has been fully serviced and bits and bobs done. However, starting up the last few (cold/damp) mornings, it has felt a bit sluggish to fire up....do I need to do anything to "prime" an au...

Re: service & airbag light
Not sure about the t e Srevice light, but I have an intermittent fault with the airbag light coming on. I just wiggle the wires under the pasenger seat, and it resets itself. Hey Presto ! LOL !

Re: Steering Lock
Hey Gav - I have exactly the same problem with the steering lock...it is on the long list of niggly faults with the car, but I've just done the best part of 350 quid for a couple of sensors and a few bits and bobs at the Renault garage so it will have to wait.

Re: Stuck in Reverse !!!
Aha - I wiggled the wires under the pax seat, and the airbag light went off. Now just need to get it to the garage for the toxic fumes ones to be sorted, and then find out why the battery keeps draining itself, then find out why the car keeps cutting out when I take my foot off the accelerator....an...

Hey Matt, thanks for your response..which seat do I need to go under to find the airbag sensor ? Do I need to take the seat out, or is it an in-situ job ?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Stuck in Reverse !!!
UNBELIEVABLE !!! Now the airbag light is on, and also I can't lock the steering when I get out.
Is this just a case of spurious error messages due to gremlins, or have I really bought a "wrong-un" ?
Your thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated

Re: Stuck in Reverse !!!
OK folks, so the car was in the garage for 3 days. It appears that (and from this point onwards, please bear in mind I am a non tecchy) two engine mounts were shot to pieces. The increased vibration lead to a housing breaking and damaging the gear selector. Well, it all sounded plausible at the time....

Re: Stuck in Reverse !!!
...and the saga continues. I had a catastrophic failure to engage in any gear this morning whilst in the staff car park. Eventually, I managed to thrust it into 3rd, and with screaming revs, and burning clutch, got the car out of the way, and parked. I phoned the garage and they took the obligatory ...
