As the fuse marked "Radio" does not de-energise the radio when removed, I resorted to a battery dissconnection to force a reset of the CD changer.
After the battery was reconnected, the stuck CD ejected fine.

Re: Help with 6 CD Changer please guys!
Right, seem to have sorted it. As the fuse marked as "Radio" is not actually the radio as it stays on after the fuse is removed, I have to resort to dissconnection of the battery and leaving for 15 minutes. After this, the CD changer came back to life and the CD in question ejected with no...

The ongoing saga of the frozen CD Changer in our 2004 Megane CC continues here https://www.meganeownersclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11956 One of the recommendations for the symptoms we are experiencing was to remove the radio fuse and force a system reset. I have removed the fuse marked...

Help with 6 CD Changer please guys!

If it was bypassed how would you know when there is a real problem with the actuator etc. I think y...

Re: Airbag warning light and under seat wiring loom
As possibly useful info for anyone, I have just spoken to a friend of a friend who is a Renault Technician. Apparently, this fault is quite common (cables from airbag signals breaking off) and they (Renault dealers) just disconnect both ends and solder the cables together, thus bypassing the plug we...

Airbag warning light and under seat wiring loom
Hi all, We have a May 2004 Megane CC 1.9dci Privilige and have had minor problems with the airbag light coming on. This has been easily rectified by reseating the sockets. We now have a problem where the wires have broken away from the seat plug. There is a blue and a brown cable that connect to an ...
