Re: Could I have bubbles in my fuel line? Resolved!!!!
My apologies warthog, it is indeed 37A-28 of MR364MEGANE 3 and not 37A-28 of MR364MEGANE 2 as I incorrectly typed before. I have corrected my the reference in the other thread as well now. Just to be absolutely clear to anyone else having this problem, the unit you are looking for is the one physic...

Re: Loss of power
Exact same thing happened to me.. it was the brake light switch. Pull the switch out and pull out the plunger a couple of clicks... then reinsert and voila! Hopefully that takes care of the problem. Should take you all of 5 mins to do. I have a left hand drive megane and the switch was easily access...

Problem Solved!!!
HOLY COW!!! It was the Brake light switch!!!! It's been over a week and the problem has pretty much gone away. I can't believe that all it took was a little fiddling with the brake light switch. A HUGE thank you to all of you who helped me out and responded to my post. If we were in a pub, I'd buy y...

Re: Could I have bubbles in my fuel line? Car's Symptoms
Well I didn't have any problems on my 45 min drive to work... I will have to give it a couple of days to see if the problem rears it's ugly head again. Crossing my fingers... I'll update this thread around the end of the week.

Re: Could I have bubbles in my fuel line? Car's Symptoms
First off let me clarify that I have a LEFT HAND Drive Megane... :) I pulled the switch that was above the brake pedal on the driver's side and pulled the plunger out a couple of clicks as recommended in the previous link. I'll see how the drive goes to work later. Is there another switch on the pas...

Re: Could I have bubbles in my fuel line? Car's Symptoms
I believe it does warrant some investigation... I am going to check right now. I assume the brake light switch and brake pedal switch are the same thing? The other thread mentioned a manual... 37A-28 of MR364MEGANE2... but when I look through the pdf I found, it doesn't have that many pages!! Thank ...

Re: Could I have bubbles in my fuel line? Car's Symptoms
I haven't had a chance to take the car to the mechanic yet, but I did look under the hood and unfortunately all the pipes look to be in good shape I couldn't see any bubbles. This fuel deprivation seems to happen mostly at slow speeds, like when not a lot of gas is being applied. Today when I was pu...

Re: Could I have bubbles in my fuel line? Car's Symptoms
Thanks so much for the pictures and info! I will look into it!!!
Just out of curiosity, is this something I can do or better done by a mechanic. I'm a shade tree mechanic with just basic tools.

Could I have bubbles in my fuel line? Resolved!!!!
I did see a couple of threads regarding bubbles in the line, but they did not actually say how it affected the car. Let me tell you what is happening: I have 2003 Megane II 1.9 DCI with about 177,000 miles on it. Here is what happens. As I am driving, the car all of a sudden looses power and slows d...

Anyone have any thoughts about the 2 different length cables? Is there an adjustment somewhere?
Thanks

Different length cables?
Hi!
I just removed the center console and noticed that the reason why my brake is not working is that the cables are different lengths and they part that holds the cables slipped off. HOw can I fix these lengths? Can I fix this? Thank you!!!!

Re: car is turned off and locked and the radio is still lit
I did have an airbag warning because I was driving around with the passenger airbag on/off switch unplugged (because of the work I was doing on from the flooding). Can you please link me which sticky to read? I can't seem to find it.
Thanks!

Re: car is turned off and locked and the radio is still lit
To be honest, I am not entirely sure the if the problem was there before the I worked on the car. It is my wife's car and since the days are long, she doesn't drive much at night. I pulled the center cover off, removed the radio and looked at the wires. They are nowhere near where i was working the ...

car is turned off and locked and the radio is still lit
Ok, my car is a 2003 1.9 and the car is turned off and locked and I just now noticed that the radio buttons are still lit up. Any clues?
I did have an issue with the draining of the ac condensation that I fixed today, but I didn't think any water got near the radio wires...
Thanks in advance!

Re: Car Braking on its own while accelerating?
Hi... The car now has about 58,000 miles on it. We bought the car used and did not get a service history. We took the car to our mechanic who felt that the car had not been abused. My wife drives the car and this "slow down" happens about three times during her commute (120 miles) round tr...
