Dog Guard
Having just acquired a car-loving Labrador, I need to find a dog guard that will fit in my Megane CC.Obviously because this is a 2 door car, I can't use any of the proprietary guards on the market. It would have to move with the seat tilting forward to allow the dog to get in and so would probably h...

Re: Megane fuel tank capacity
My manual says "approximately" 60 litres(=13.21 gallons) but I can't understand why anyone should run fuel this low-you will pick up any rubbish from the bottom of the tank.I fill mine up at the half mark and apparently it's best to fill up in the morning when fuel is denser.

Re: We bought a brand new megane cc at WSR
Wanda-thanks for the info. I've looked at Renault Merchandise through main dealers and they don't seem to do one.drawn a blank with other model suppliers as well, so the info off the car or box would be very useful.

Re: Can anyone please help!!!!!!
This is a right ba***rd of a job to do. Mine stopped working recently and my local Renault specialist (not main dealer) replaced it for me. Quoted me 1 hour labour and it took just over 2 hours!.Even with the side carpet moulding removed there's hardly any room to get your hands in. There is, though...

Re: megane cc problems
Airbag light could be something as simple as the connectors under the seats, especially if the seat(s) get moved a lot. Disconnect the battery and wait 30 mins before disconnecting/re-connecting-there are capacitors in the system which need to discharge, otherwise there is a chance of the airbag(s) ...

Re: CALLING willholdsworth Ref. Non OE windbreak
I've got one of these-came from an ebay seller in Belgium (£89.00 +£12.00 dely last year)-looks the same as the one in the picture. The upright part folds flat -gives a better view through the mirror with the roof up and all draughts disappear with it up. A doddle to fit-mine stays in all the time as...

Re: dpf removal
My local dealer told me to drive at least 15miles above 50mph(keep revs above 2000rpm) and this cures it-well it has done for me. I don't do long trips so once a month I just blast it down the motorway for 25 miles or so. I've only had the "regenerate soot filter" warning twice in 12 month...

Temporary lack of power
1.9dCi Megane CC 2006: Last night on my regular trip home, I stopped at a T-junction. On pulling away, car wouldn't go over 2000rpm (still in first gear). In the time it took me to think "what the f**k?", it all went back to normal and has been ever since! Only other thing I've noticed is ...

Re: FULL SIZE SPARE WHEEL
I've posted this before but I used a 15" wheel with bigger profile tyre ex Renault Laguna (overall tyre height is the same as the 205s on my 16" rims and yes it does clear the calipers!)which I got from a scrapyard for £10.00. I've kept the boot floor as it is-it is raised about 40mm by th...

Meggyman-there is a perspex one available at www. windstops4cars.co.uk
It appears to be a big piece of perspex which stands behind the seats. £124.95
I've just ordered the one off e-bay for £89+del.
