Replaced the reverse lights switch myself during Easter and everything works again The switch is placed on the bottom left side of the gearbox so oil will pour out when removing it. I had a mechanic friend of my father-in-law check it afterwards and refill what oil was needed
I should add that the car is a 5 speed. Found this thread on Renault forums - should I expect that the switch is placed differently in a 5 speed than in a 6 speed as stated?
This might sound really stupid but could someone advice me, maybe with a photo, where to look for the reverse lights switch. Decided to have a go if it doesn't seem too scary. A new sensor is only £20+pp on Ebay. Also, if anybody knows how to remove rear lights on a sport tourer that would be really...
I tried mine around Christmas when the keycard battery went flat. It worked perfectly and thankfully so because I kept a spare battery in the glove compartment  However, a colleague of my girlfriend found the keycard battery for her brand new Grand Scenic dead and the emergency key didn't matc...

Is this likely and could a man with a moderate amount of thumbs change these? Nothing else is, to my knowledge, n...
I'll be taking my meg for a long drive come Easter. From Oslo to Molde (Norway) and back - about 1000 KM altogether. Wife and son will take a plane so I'm free to cruise with music on LOUD! Can't wait
Depends if you bought a HU that matches this description taken from your link: "This interface connects a ALPINE, CLARION, JVC, KENWOOD, PANASONIC, PIONEER, & SONY stereo with a joystick input (blue line-in mini-jack on the back of the unit) to the existing stalk/steering wheel controls of ...
Had what sounds similar with ours around Christmas. Managed to start it by glowing twice (pressed stop before it tried starting and then start again) then drove it to the garage and got the glow plugs changed. Had it serviced at the same time so fuel filter was changed as well. Haven't had any probl...
Did you check that no cables are in the way? When I fitted my Pioneer HU I had to hold a cluster of cables in the upper left corner aside for the HU to slide in completely
