Re: Clutch Problem
Hi i had the same problem with my wifes scenic, it is a common problem, i had to replace the clutch master cylinder. managed to pick one up on ebay as dealer was quoting £500 plus for part.Try ebay first or see if you can get it checked out as it may just be one of the seals in master cylinder.

Re: new gearnob
Hi you have to pull it off. Try wiggling it from side to side whilst pulling upwards. Quite hard to get off but will do with a bit of effort. you need to unclip the gaiter from console first as it all comes off in one. Good luck Mark

Re: Megane 1.5dci 54 - fuel cons down after battery change
Hi, i have noticed my 1.5dci consumption has dropped slightly last few weeks, i think it is down to the cold weather as engine is taking longer to warm up.Mine is normally 53 but only getting 50, so i wouldnt worry about anything being wrong.

I find taking front bumper off is quickest. this can be done in 5 mins. I have done it a few times now and have it down to a fine art. I dont think renault like you to do anything yourself!

Re: how do you get in the fuse box under the bonnet??
Hi it is a pain to get to the fuse box. You have to take out battery and ecu and airbox as the fuses are under the casing. You shouldnt really have to go in there unless it is something serious. Mark

I would take the car to have the tracking checked asap, also check that a wheel weight hasnt come off. Most tyre places will do this for you quite cheap. Mark
