Re: Stuttering start
I recently had my fuel filter changed due to debris in my fuel tank - a side effect has been the car now starts better than it ever did and the engine just runs so much better. Worth checking.

Clutch judder and poor starting
I've experienced the intermittent clutch juddering on two 06 plates 1.6VVT Meganes. I recently had my fuel filter replaced due to malicious damage caused by grass and mud getting into my fuel tank. Since having the new filter the car car now starts perfectly and does not have the judder.

Re: creating a jack socket - tuner list
I bought a lead which is plug and play - connects to the aux socket on the back of the updatelist and has an ipod connector at the other end, which also charges the ipod, can change volume via the steering wheel controls. This keeps the CD changer as fitted. I think I bought it from incartec (it may ...

I'd be interested for a sensible price if it works for the rear passengers.

Re: CC Wheels & Sizes
I've got the 17'' Nervasport alloys with 205 50 R17 Continental Sport Contact tyres, which I would recommend.
I've had the 16'' alloys on a previous CC and they certainly give a more comfortable/softer ride, but the 17'' do improve the look of the car considerably in my opinion.

Re: Fitting a towbar to cc
I had a towbar fitted professionally and they had all the problems you described!
They didn't secure the counterweights first time and had to strip the car down a second time.
I'm impressed you did it yourself!

Re: Renault Service - Sussex (or Hampshire, Surrey)?
Hi Scott, I used Hemmings in Chichester with my last lease car and then for a year when I bought a Megane, they were fine. Now the car is out of warranty I'm going to Meakins and Sons in Chichester next week for a full service, based upon recommendations, as it is a much lower quote than the franchi...

How can front speaker vibration be cured?
Apologies if this is already on the forum.
I don't want to replace the front door speakers, so sound quality aside, are there any simple tried and tested ways of reducing the vibration noises from the front speaker covers, door cards and handles with low frequency bass?

Issues to sort before extended warranty runs out
Hi, Apologies if these items have been posted elsewhere on the site but would welcome comments on the following problems which I have with an 06 1.6 Sports Hatch, bought last year:- Poor fit of front wings - there is a noticeable gap between the metal door line and the plastic wing line both sides. ...

iPOD info shown on tuner display
Apologies if this has been asked before. I have an updatelist tuner in an 06 Sport Hatch with a Connects2 lead for my ipod which works well and allows charging, steering wheel controls etc apart from it doesn't allow any track info to be shown on the tuner's display screen. Does the Denison Gateway ...
