Hi, I realise this thread has probably gone a little cold now, but I just wanted to see how you got on with this issue. I just bought an '05 plate 1.6VVT Megane CC (only about 29k on the clock, full service history) a couple of weeks ago and all runs well apart from the occasional clunk from the gen...
