Re: my car
yeah the guy who put all the kit on the car was on here, if you have a good dig thru you will find all the pics in progress no doubt. I wouldnt bother putting skirts on either, the meg cill is low as fook anyway, you put some nasty fibreglass skirts on, and all that will happen is you will smash the...

Re: Engine
depends on what engine it is, new will be astronomical, probably looking at 2.5k or something, recon probs about 1k-1.5k, second hand with proof of mileage 500-900.
You'd be best off looking for someone who is breaking a meg, or a rear ended meg

Re: Headlights
Simple job swapping the lights over, it will all be common sense once you have them off, the hard part will be taking the bumper off without snapping all the fiddly clips

Re: Turbo for my 1.6???
not worth it to be honest, it would cost you in the thousands, lowering the compression, the turbo itself, engine management, custom manifolds, cats, exhausts, its not just as simple as banging a turbo in the mixer, it used to be said that there are three things, power, reliability, cost(cheapness) ...

the mirrors are universal, its the baseplates which have to fit the meg, you can buy trimable ones if you cant find any.

Re: de-cat
You not thought about MOT time? the FAIL more than anything, i would imagine if you keep your backbox on it will be a tad louder, possibly loads louder, but the emissions will be a straight up fail. Ive removed my backbox from my 1.9dci, with 225 tail pipes out the back and its really not to much lo...

Re: 225 SPORT BUMPER ON MY DCI ** (JULY UPDATE) **
oh definitely ulrich. The rear ones look riddiculous, gonna put on some spacers for the time being to be flushed, not sure whether to put 25mm or 35mm? 45mm :-) and i wouldnt bother with spacers, total waste of money, the standard 16"s will still look small and kack. take the bumpers off and s...
