Hi
Have the same problem , traced it to a block connector under passenger seat called R2 , badly corroded , have a replacement but still have to wire it in .

Hi,
It is after the catalytic convertor , just follow exhaust to the front and you will see it screwed into the exhaust .

Hi
This is normal for this engine , I had a 1.6 megane and own a 1.6 scenic both high revs , you feel it should have a 6th gear , think the later models have .

Bleed screws do you mean ? I used the 2 , the one one where the thermostat is and the one on the bulkhead , however it is fine now , it disappeared after the test drive , everything is working normal , no noise, no overheating and have good hot air . Thanks

Gurgling noise after coolant change 1.5dci
Hi Just done a timing belt and water pump change on my megane 1.5dci , however when replacing the coolant as per manual I get a gurgling noise from around the heater matrix area , temp seems to climb as normal and the heater is blowing hot air. . But I have noticed that the top radiator hose on left...

You're best bet is to get the fault codes read to see what caused the EML to come on. What engine do you have ?

When your front window wipers are on and you select reverse does your rear wiper come on ? If not it could be your reversing switch on the gearbox housing .

Thanks for reply, yes it would be louder, I was thinking cv joint myself. I got him to order a second hand driveshaft which i'll stick in for him it wouldn't do any harm to change the gear oil anyway .

Well mine is a different pt no would you believe 8200166828 but they look identical !
