Had same problem, try removing pads and small spring clips (top and bottom) put copper grease under clips aswell , then reassembel . My cc brakes are silent.

Thinking of doing cambelt and tensioners myself, Ive always done my own repairs before on other cars even cambelts. but never done a magane, Dont fancy paying out hundreds on a job i could do myself. had squeaky brakes on my cc took pads out and small clips on top and bottum of calipers put some copper grease under clips put them back together all quiet and only on cheap pads

With the boot open use a screw driver and close the catch so the car thinks the boots shut. Then with the fuel flap open ,put your left hand through the slot in boot lining where the boot inges are, and you'll feel the inside of the fuel lock move when you lock the car, give it a good soak with WD i...

hi i had same problem took 2 screws out did'nt seem to do anything so i just soaked it in wd40 put my hand inside boot lining and gave it a little help whilst locking and unlocking it . touch wood been ok since. ps you can feel the plunger move in and out slightly when you lock it

engine mount

hi can anyone tell me how much play there's supposed to be in my engine mount on drivers side , the one on the inner wing its nothing much but can move top of the engine about half inch , just seems a bit sloppy to me.

if the boots open could'nt you put the roof up manually like it says in the book . ps screw the to**er for all you can hope youre daughters not hurt to much

signal on my stereo is useless tried changing whip on boot lid , bought amplified ariel off ebay that sticks to window , and changed stereo but still only got pure reception on local stations . anybody got any ideas
