Re: Recall warning!

I am not sure what spec the recall is covering but mine is a 1.9dc1 130 on a 56 plate.
I was thinking about having mine remapped a couple of months ago. glad I didn't now!
I hope no one loses out on this one.

Recall warning!

I have just had my Megane in for service.
When I picked it up I was told that the had also applied a software update to the engine management system at Renault's request.
If you have had your car modified it might cause problems.

Took mine in yesterday. Fixed in about 5 mins. Just a case of taking it out, unplugging it, putting it back in and resetting it. Apparently Renault are well aware of the problem and are just collecting information at the moment. Nothing will be announced until sometime in March. Fixed for free by th...

I'm not sure that my aircon has ever worked! The only thing that happens when you press the button is the orange light comes on! No more noise nothing. I took it into the dealer while it was still in warranty and they re-gassed the unit and said it was fine. I wonder how much extra I paid for an ora...

Did they give you any idea of cost and how long it would take to fix? I have had a couple of Renaults before this; a 25, and a 19. They were both excellent cars and I did over 100k in both without a hitch. It seems that since the early 90's the build quality has been on a steep downwards path. This ...

Hi Catherine, I have exactly the same problem! Got into the car yesterday morning turned on the radio.... Nothing! I was wondering if the cold weather had anything to do with it. When I got into the car is was -10c. Mine is a 1.9dci on a 56 plate. 14 days with the radio will be hell. Going to call m...

On am 120 mile mostly motorway journey my 1.9 dci managed 72mpg! OK, I was driving at 56mph but what the hell.
Best ever for a full tank was an average og 59mpg.
Best over a 13 mile streach from petrol station to my house down an A road was 85mpg!
