Hi no expert by any means, but when my meg clutch was failing for the third time within a year I always noticed the peddle dipping on hard accelaration, say perhaps on entering the motorway...........so much so it would be on the deck and have to be pulled manually up with my toe then pump the peddl...

Yeah I have the 106 with panoramic sunroof and no it wont qualify for the £30.00 road tax, believe it or not its over the emissions limit by a mere 4 points , has to be 120 or under. The 106 with normal roof applys though.

your a good sport mate , i had to get it goin cause I need it for work , but hey my big speak was about the fuel leak coming from the return pipe, as soon as you smell a wiff of diesel you have to act , or its your starter guys, and that can b expensive.........just look at me

Tried 4 garages for recond one but couldnt source any, so had to be brand new from eurocarparts. Where were you yesterday Eddie when I needed you :cry

Ok had AA out, turns out starter motor was screwed, took to a local garage who replaced for £240. Didn't really show it was about to go either,not the cheapest but but not the worst, Arnold clark wanted £350. Thanks guys

Excellent advice and suggestions as usual my friends, will definately give the digital camera thing a go. Just to be clear guys, when i apply the pressure to the offending bulb should the pressure be forwards, left , right or up. Many thanks for taking the time, feckin love this forum.
