As if it like pauses then kicks in and starts. It doesn't happen all the time. And its always done this i presume it is something...

Re: Alarm keeps going off

It is a brand new battery.

If this helps?

Re: Battery indicator.

Also I sometimes get a 'pause' in ignition after pressing start. It's like it tries to start takes a breath for a second and then starts up fine. Any opinions? P This happens to my Megane. I have recently put a new battery in but the problem still occurs every so often. I can start the car 20 times...

Re: Stuttering starting

It does it rarely and it has had a brand new battery fitted. I press the button, it pauses then carries on firing up. It gets there. Once i started it and it kept on making the cranking sound over and over again and i had to press stop and do it again. It seemed to get stuck? I've been told it's a p...

Re: Warranty/cover

I have had some info posted to me from 'warranty direct'.

Is this worth me forking out 25 quid a month for?

Are they efficient?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Re: Alarm keeps going off

It doesn't always start first time. It's odd. i press the button it makes the starting sound then sort of pauses/hesitates then carries on starting and all goes well. With the alarm i lock the doors as usual and it can keep going off every 10 minutes and then will be fine for days on end and then ju...

Miles per Gallon

Hi all. I was just wondering how many miles per gallon i should be getting and if my car is running as it should. I have an 03 Megane 1.6 vvt dynamique. My other half mainly drives it doing short trips around the town as part of her work. Normally about 500 miles per month with this kind of driving....

Re: Megane - Injection fault light

This will sound a daft question but what is the best way to get to this sensor and where is it located? I might try and give it a clean if that will try and sort it before i pay for a new one?

Thanks

Warranty/cover

Hi

I am interested in taking some kind of warranty out on my vehicle as i don't want to keep paying big sums out and having a car out of action.

Which are the best to go with/price etc.
Any info greatly recieved. Thanks

Re: Megane - Injection fault light

Parts fitted and so far so good. Seems like there has been an overall improvement. Not as jerky pulling off and now picking up speed quicker and starting first time. :-) The one thing left to fix now is the coolant gauge thing. Basically the needle shoots all the way to the half way point as soon as...

Re: Megane - Injection fault light

UPDATE

Took it into the garage today.
Diagnostic test revealed it is the sensors. Camshaft or crankshaft i forget the two and is it a flywheel sensor or something. Does this sound about right? Too many sensors i get confused.

Parts ordered and are being fitted today.
