Need to change your headlights.
About all though. Easier to get a straight replacement for your model.

Re: HID's purchased! :)

I took the bumper and each headlight out as i did it. I find the bumper comes off so quickly its worth the effort. You can have it done in half an hour, pain free. You'll be able to see the back of the light properly and make sure you dont touch the glass, much easier. Full beam make a huge differen...

Re: HID's purchased! :)

nah your fine with the projector lenses, its only if you have the old reflector style. They just have some of the bulb blacked out to stop any glare. yeah i fitted both beams, full beam really makes a massive difference, it annoyed me that my main beam were crystal clear and my full beam were yellow...

Oil catch tank

afternoon, Have been cleaning the pipes on my megane over the weekend and have noticed that all my intake pipes have an oil residue and deposits throughout, including a fair amount through the intercooler. I assume this is from the oil vent pipe and its recirculated into the intake (i've noticed a f...

Re: HID's purchased! :)

not done the fogs yet as they have been harshly removed by pheasants.
I've the HIDs on mine, look awesome, have you got the projector lenses? I got the Regulation bulbs as i've only got reflectors.

Highly recommend these to everyone.

Will decide over the summer, depends if i get a bit of spare cash.

Re: China Car DVD Player with GPS

I looked at this, theres a site dedicated to modifying the software on it. They basically strip it back to windows CE and you can load your own software. Like building a car PC, but a hell of a cheaper alternative. Google for a few hours, you'll find it :)

Re: Rear ARB

Anthony your a legend! I've been looking at this for ages and found nothing. Found drop links for an ARB but no ARB to fit to them! Just fitted a mates car with Eibach Sportline springs, Koni FSD dampers and Eibach Anti roll bars front and rear, with rear poly bushes fitted also. It is like driving ...

Didnt do it in the end as my clutch no longer slips lol. Let me know if you get it done and what not as i still may do this before i get a new exhaus...

Re: Decat, Injectors and leather seats

Ahh yes, never even crossed my mind. best keep my eye out for renault ones then. Will email K-tec, they seem to know meganes through and through, so should know if the cat's are the same shape, if not similar. Just had a quote for £2000 for the megane. Upgraded injectors, fuel pump, turbo and interc...

Decat, Injectors and leather seats

hello you beautiful peeps. Quick catch up for you all.. Cars done 106000 miles now, just had a full service on the driveway and running pretty well. However, she idles fairly rough. New oil and what not hasn't helped; engine mounts in good condition and it still does it with the clutch in. So, i've ...

Re: Remap

Actually i've found the MPG go up all round.
I gunned it before and i still do, yet its now sitting at 39MPG average, where it was low 30's before. Both on screen and calculated.

If you do take it easy it rockets sky high, i had the 1.9 high 70's at 70 on the motorway. Took a lot of feathering.

Re: Remap

I can vouch for that, though on a bigger engine. Is literally the best thing i've done to my car.
However, that is quite a high price for the remap, but as long as your happy!
Think i will be remapping all the cars i own, its well worth it.
