Do you think that if i can inspect the turbo and all appear to be ok for now, i could get away with just replacing the oil feeds, since these were what was identified as causing the problem (alongside oil but if the turbo is in good nick then perhaps the oil quality issue might not h...

how can i tell the turbo has been upgraded, dci 1.9?
Hi guys, does anyone know if it is easy to tell if the turbo has been replaced and the new version oil feeds are on it?
I have read about the horror stories about the 2003 Meganes turbos failing and i know mine is one of the scary ones (registered Jan 2003).
Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and just to add to this, if the turbo/pipes/intercooler has been replaced with the better versions, is there a way i can tell? UPDATE: Spoke to RCS and they said they cannot tell me if any remedial or upgrade has been undertaken on this vehicle due to data protection. I was told to contact the pr...

Hi all RY52 ... , 2003 Megane Dynamique 120 DCI 1.9 I have just put a deposit down on a lovely example of the above Megane II, spotless on the outside, 61K FSH. I have now just found out about the turbo issues people have been having and am obviously very concerned. I guess this is no longer covered...
