Re: ecu chip and re-map
you wanna be careful what your plugging into your obd port as well, the port is for diagnostics and reading and writing to the ECU I would not just plug anything in to there, plus if your still talking about the normally aspirated ebgine you'll never get any box that will get 25% EXTRA from a normal...

Re: tuning box advise
How much would a full remap be? I've seen one of your guys in lincoln, driving a Focus. The guy said he could put a custom built exhaust on, a BMC filter then the remap to take it to around 160-175 BHP, which would be monumentally faster. If you guys could beat the prices i dont see why i wouldn't ...

Re: Tuning box fitting and test
well I have done 20,000 mile with a remap and a further 2000 with a box fitted turned up higher than we recommend and I have not blew my turbo. The box works as follows The power comes from the fuel. If you increase the rail pressure the car will inject the fuel with higher pressure. Every engine ca...

Re: tuning box advise
We are doing tuning boxes for £150 a remap is better but a tuning box is easier as you can fit it your self remove it and it can often be reprogrammed for a different vehicle, our tuning boxes are electronic and work on common rail presssure, they are not a resistor in a box that fools the engine to...

Re: Angel Tuning - Experiences - advice?
The only reason to get a custom map would be if you'd changed lots of parts in the vehicle e.g full exhaust system, induction kit, new turbo, sports clutch etc, if your car has all std parts then a normal of the shelf map will do fine.

Re: 1.5dci re-mapping
Yeah we charge £300 but we can offer discount on group purchases etc, I been speaking to a few people in NI regarding becoming tuners and they were saying the same that there are some companys that are pushing remaps out at below £200, all i can say to that is be careful as some companys will push c...

Re: Diesel Tuning
Was considering getting my 1.9dci remapped but anybody that does remapping over here in NI has warned me about how fragile the turbos are standard so even a tuning box as mentioned above is going to put extra stress on it and the flywheel. We have remapped loads of these vehicles without any come b...
