forget going to the dealership if you have to pay anything for a regulator pick one up off ebay for £50ish and DIY its not a big job to replace and this is coming from someone that knows nothing about cars but even i managed to do it if need be i will even do a step by step in photos on how to repl...

Just after Boxing Day I returned to my parked and locked '04 Megane to find drivers window completely open - and found it wouldn't close. Called RAC Recovery and the patrolman knew all about this happening... he said it's a common fault with Meganes - caused by water ingress affecting the regulator ...
