Checked wiring in fusebox under bonnet just when i nipped out and one wire wasnt in! Plugged it in and car fired up right away!!
HAPPY CHAPPY IS NOT THE WORD!

Would like to give a big thank you to the OP, i have successfully replaced handbrake in around 1 hour.
No need to remove gear gaitor, there is enuf room to lift up the whole console, i rested it on passenger seat and it held it up out of the way for me, thanks buddy !!
