\very much so...im sure its a problem that people have attributed to a failing turbo...With some of the garage sharks out there that I know of wanted to charge me in excess of 700 squid for a new turbo and too fit it...The best quote was from a Renault specialist about 15 miles outside of bury st ed...

well after lots of playing and taking out the turbo looking at it and comparing it too the other two I have in the garage it turns out it was the actuator rod that wasn't freely moving. Swapped the old actuator rod for the 1 on the current model and bang 1 working vehicle :D hope this helps anyone

have just done mine, exact same problem...too the point when we took the disc off the bearing fell out in 2 pieces... before you do the work just make sure you have a torx set too remove the bottom and top caliper botlts. Also I would fully reccomend buying a piston screw for 7 squid of ebay as the ...

Hi guys and gals... 1 new engine fitted and now on third turbo....my original turbo had picked up swarf from the big end bearing that had perished....have lots of expensive photos lol!! Have trawled through some engine schematics and found that the 800 and 808 run the same compression ratios, and not sure about the 812, as for what the codes mean I am still at a loss however I'm sure I'm not the first person that has had this problem, As for the elctoronics I was thinking that sure...

ok have found a previous post by tolamix with differences in engine, which presents a wiki link. Useful and informative however it doesn't break down the final three letters of the engine code. Can anyone help with this??

ok after doing some reading and trying too digest a lot of info, turns out that there are many different variants of the F9Q engine the F9Q stands for the block and the 3 digits after turn out to be the head. I can't find a reference anywhere though that tells me what the difference between say an 8...

good evening boys and girls....looks like the oil in the engine is coming from the turbo....the pipe is lined with it. Now im looking for a cheap turbo....does anyone have a part number that i can with....its a 2004 5 door 1.9 120dci :) thanks guys for help. its going slow as im paying a friend etc

Well i've been too the garage.....its beyond my time and if im being honest my own mechanical capability and toolage to do much more.... They have plugged it into the code reader and its come up with 2 faults....and egr 1 and turbo with overflow?? (i do apologise for the vagueness he did say everyth...

Thank you searched and found that 1, however it feels like the window is still trying too press the window up even when it has closed.... Makes a worrying noise. In the door frame.
