Passenger Compartment Fan / Resistor Pack (Removal)
Renault 1.6 Megane, Manual Passenger Compartment Heating. Ive had a look at the manuals, and seem to cant to get my head around how the Fan comes out, or where the resisitor pack is located. The fault is that the fan works intermittently, sometimes not at full power in all modes of operation (1,2,3,...

Re: Megane II - Heating Fan Inoperative / Intermittent
Ive been out again, started the car & still no operation. I removed the LH side panel in the LH Floorwell, and had a peek. I cant see any rubbing of wires, and the loom looks to be routed correctly. I removed the Heating Resistor Unit connector, as pictured in MR364MEGANE6.pdf technical instruct...

2005 Megane II Heating Fan Intermittent / Inoperative. Symptoms - Very poor / weak flow on the heating system even when set to 4. Has anyone a picture? Does anyone know why the door panel cannot be removed with the window up? How do you remove the door panel.? I sold my car to my mum, which now has in turn received this problem. Initial reports were that 4x windows were not working, which we did the 10 second switch up reset t...

Re: Service & Toxic Warning Light - No Rough Running
Unsure how the fault is linked to the toxic warning light. Returned the reader today to Argos for a full refund, so erasing the code is no cost to us. Selling the car tonight, buyer coming to collect. Car is on 69,000 miles, no fault code today when in use. Will monitor and see how it runs. Will loo...

How do you Remove Instrument Cluster
There is a strange rattle behind the clocks, ive had a look from underneath and cant find anything, ive had the radio out and had a feel behind there.
Next step is to take the clocks out and have a rummage, but i cant figure out how to get the plastic combing out.

Megane II Jacking Points - Trolley Jack
Ok, Ive found the points on the front of the car to jack the car up, i use the 2 box sections just rear of the wishbone connections points. These finish about 1ft back of the wishbones, so no look for raising the rear end. I want to jack the rear end up, and take the wheels off to look at the brakes...

Re: 2005 1.6 VVT - Stalling after ignition press
What do people use to clean the throttle body.?
Carb cleaner, degreaser, water.?
Is it simply remove the airfilter hose, then remove the 4 bolts.
