Yes it does. Makes the noise whether the climate control is on 'Auto' or not, if that's relevant.

Constant buzz behind dash?
Hi,
I've got a constant buzz/whine behind the dash. Sounds something like a fan but (obviously) this is when the aircon/fan is completely off. It's not loud, just annoying on a quiet night and I don't know if 'they all do that'. Car is a 2003 1.9dci Privilege.

5l of Motrio 'Super Extra 5W/40' is only £15.35 from Renault (Arnold Clark, Stirling at least). It's got the right spec, ACEA B3/B4. Halford's own fully synth is £34.99 for 5l. Even Tesco's is £18 for only 4l. I only asked out of interest when I was buying the genuine filter. Thought they'd say some...
