Thanks for the info, I've checked the kit out via your link and it looks ok ....if you wouldn't mind, perhaps you could let me know if it works ok .. the renault wiring plays the memory stick satisfactorily but is not worth the £170 they have charged

Thanks Gav .. It's the Tunepoint 'kit' that they've fitted, I'm slightly suspicious that 3rd generation ipods may not be compatable but the user guide does refer to them so Renault must think they're ok

Just bought a Megane Sport Tourer Dynamique (new) and, wanting to use my iPod (3rd Gen),paid the dealer £170 to have the appropriate kit fitted.... I now find I cannot connect using the iPod data socket ,iPod either locks-up and has to be reset or will play 1 track but locks up if any buttons presse...
