Re: Which fuse do I need to change - and where do I find it?

Over to Rosey for that one - I was asking to help out but she has signed up now so there's no point me getting further involved.

I think she said the fuses all seem to be fine. Is there a master fuse for the circuits controlling those things or something?

Which fuse do I need to change - and where do I find it?

O7 Megane the dashboard light is not lighting up nor are the lights or indicators or petrol gauge or speedometer.

Will I find the fuse (I hope it is only a fuse) in the glovebox or under the bonnet?

Re: Boot Won't Open

They are robbing you blind there. That wire can be found in seconds. Its a ten minute job. I got charged €70 the first time the and the second time I did the job myself. It's really easy to do. I certainly wouldn't be giving them that kind of money. By the way didn't I say the wire was broken? Frac...

Re: Boot Won't Open

Sinkers was close. I had a look and found nothing obviously wrong. Put my car into the local dealer (who despite having had 48 hours between it being booked in and the timeslot they assigned) failed to look at it for about 5 hours. By the time they found the problem (a fractured wire) there was insu...

Boot Won't Open

The boot on my Megane won't open. The central locking is fine but the boot stays locked. Any suggestions as to how I can open it?

Any help greatfully received.

Re: Toxic Fume Filter/Service Lights

The service is imminent if not a little overdue. With about 1000 miles to go the read-out stopped and it just says "change oil soon" now.

It is petrol engined (1.6 16v 2004 Megane).

Toxic Fume Filter/Service Lights

I have had some problems recently with the battery. It was replaced today and all was well but this evening the service light and the toxic fume filter light are staying lit on the dashboard. The car is running fine and all appears to be well otherwise. I'm hoping that these warning lights are on as...

I just tried to start my car and it wouldn't go. "Immobiliser problem" says the dash display. Is there anything that I can do?

Re: Door Mirror

Thats a bummer indeed, apologies for my Tuesday morning fun! Could prob get the parts for considerably less if you went second hand although as its an insurance job at least it won't cost you ('till you come to renew that is!) and you don't have the hassle of locating parts/ebay etc. It won't affec...

Re: Door Mirror

Door mirror £122.27. Wiper arm £47.22 Wiper blade £17.15 Total £186.64 The above does not include VAT. The car may need to be recovered because I cannot drive it anywhere in the rain (it is lashing down) with no driver's side wiper. The door mirror is not in stock and will not be here until Thursday...
