Hi Lisa,
there are a few posts on here relating to similar problems, one of them which has happened to myself was that there was a fly in the car which was picked up by the ultra sonic sensors when the car was dead locked!
This made the alarm go off.....maybe something similar for you!

Re: Audio Connection Box (Tunepoint) for Renault
As far as i know the mp3 HU looks very similar to the standard HU, so i would assume it does connect to the steering wheel controls!
Optional extra, prob around £400 knowing the stealers prices!

Re: Rust on rear Passenger door
I think renault has a corrosion warranty of 12years, correct me if im wrong.....so you should be covered!
Paint warranty i believe is a round 3 or 5 years.....i assume this is for paint which is flaking or door handles which have cracked! Check it out with ur local garage!

Re: Audio Connection Box (Tunepoint) for Renault
I have an 08 dynamique megane with the updated list HU with a multi-tune point installed by renault and i must say it is def really good for use with the ipod, allows volume controls, skipping back and forth tracks etc! However it only works through playlists, 6 at the most with a maximum of 99 song...

Re: dash display says mono cd when cd playing
Mono means 'single', as in the single disk cd player HU, once you have the multitune point of 6-disk cd changer installed and connected to the HU, it will show '6 CD' once the cd changer source is selected!
Dont think it has anything to do with stereo or mono output!

Re: Stereo volume decreasing
In the radio book, it says that in the settings for the radio you can set the volume to reduce with the speed of the vehicle!
Not sure at which speed this starts or how it works, but it could be the prob! is your radio the updated tuner list version??

Re: Touch up paint
Have a look for Extrme Blue... Pretty sure its the same after Renault changed the name. Extreme blue and Ottoman blue are not the same shade of blue, extreme is a darker shade! Get the paint code of the plate attached to the pillar of the car and go to Halfords and they will mix it for you! Cost ab...

Re: Update List and CD Changer
Ace, on the HU there is only one place the lead from the changer will fit due to the size! As far as i remember it is the biggest of the two holes, the second smaller hole is for the bluetooth handsfree which renno has! on the changer, the second smaller blue wire is the power to light up the change...

Most mechanics recommend changing all the coil packs at the one time, once one breaks, mainly because of the problems you have been experiencing!

Re: Rust and flaking paint on the door
that should be covered by renault under their corrosion warranty or even paint warranty! Not sure how many years they cover it for, something strikes me as being nearly 12 years! so if it is u should be well covered!
