Re: Clicking when turning / accelerating
Update (not really) Didn't fancy going back to the garage and sold the car, car was for sale prior to going there. Gutted its gone, was a great car really but mileage caught up (115k) and had it 3 years which is a long time for me. Did try and buy another but dealers wouldn't budge on price and so g...

Re: Turbo Repair 1.9 dci (120) 2004 - Midland Turbo?
Sorry, not an answer to the Q but for what its worth in 4 years I've never had to top up the oil.
I would make sure fully synth oil is in a and a good air filter.
Make sure its breathing properly. Other than that I dunno

Re: Clicking when turning / accelerating
Am sure it didn't take the 30 hrs to actually do the job, I think just queued up the cars/jobs. The owner knew the score with the job and mentioned the sub frame etc. They haven't changed both. I supplied the part from a while back. I just changed the ball joint myself first time around. Not been ba...

Re: Clicking when turning / accelerating
Hmm, don't like the sound of that.
Might call back at the garage, see what they say.
They had the car over 30 hours, car came back with oily marks on the interior as well.
Will check wheel nuts.
It sounds like off side clicking, the job was near side.

Clicking when turning / accelerating
Hi
Just had a N/S wishbone replaced and notice a clicking after pulling away from stationary and turning under heavy (ish) acceleration, clicking does increase with speed and stops when straightening up.
Just to add, the noise sounds O/S

Re: How loud is the 1.9 dci? (compared to 1.5dci)
I have the 1.9 now and had the 1.5 last time I remember a mate saying in my 1.5, is this a diesel? after me saying it was earlier because it was that quiet. The 1.9 is a bit louder but you will need to get it next to another 1.9 to compare driving wise the 1.9 isn't that bad, quiet good really but t...

Re: Air con not working 2006 1.5dCi Megane II Sport Tourer
Has this issue been solved?
Same issue here, Kwik fit (I know!!) said regas didn't get it going, no leaks etc
Have heard of broken wire from the fuse to compressor, anyone know of this, which wires go to the fuse?

Sport Tourer Recall
I have had a letter for a recall on the rear spoiler (they call it) with the high level brake light in, this needs replacing due to being able to come off easy.
Anyone had this done?
I ask as my brake light doesn't work and wonder if they replace the lot.

Steering rack play
Hi
Just had my 4th relatively trouble free MOT (just a cv boot clip) but have an advisory for slight steering rack play.
Would you say this is an easy job to replace?
