My temperature gauge is fluctuating a few mm when driving on my 1.6vvt megane(k4m) is there a way of testing the coolant sensor on the thermostat housing anybody know what the resistances should be?

Can anybody give me the Part Number for Megane II 1.6vvt Coolant temperature sensor? think mines on the blink

Just noticed my megane is a bit slow warming up and when it eventually does warm up (8 to 10 miles 30-50mph driving) the temp gauge fluctuates up and down by a couple of needle widths when driving even more so if i put the heater on full hot... I am sort of thinking thermostat....? had the spark spl...

2005 megane near side front window creaking and rattling when driving evans halshaw doncaster cannot find a problem...... any suggestions? thanks

Just returned from the dealer (evans halshaw) to be told that my water ingress in my front floor storage compartments(megane 2) is caused by the drains under the Scuttle panel under the windscreen,they are asking £150 to clean them out.What is involved in cleaning them out as i dont have £150 to han...

Sounds like Dephaser pulley my 2005 1.6vvt is on its third pulley now and had the same symptoms as yours.

Toxic fume light could be failing coils.....

Had a very funny feeling that was that the problem was.....Mine is making the very same. How much did Renault charge you for a new clutch??? Renault didnt charge for the clutch they did it all under the Autoprotect warranty + it was the fourth time that they supposed to have fixed the squealing noi...

9 days later car back from dealer,clutch+bearing replaced squealing appears to have been fixed...

Tried that,cant find a photo detailed enough to be able to tell.

We've just got our megane back from the garage again, and i think they have left a cover off the ECU, (part behind the battery). It's a megane II dynamique 1.6 vvt petrol. UPDATE: Had a call from evans halshaw and apparently its the clutch throw out bearing causing the squealing noise? i am not so sure cos wouldnt the noise change depending on whether the clutch is up or down? Car at dealer for over a week now
