Towbar Fitting

Got a genuine Renault towbar for the Megane, to say the instructions are a little scarce is probably complementary.

I can't find the holes in the chassis for the rear mountings, has anybody else fitted one, a search didn't bring anything up.

I've fitted a non Renault one but I assume it's the same. Bumper off, crash bar off, sticky bits over end of chassis rails off, towbar slides into chassis rails.

I couldn't have put it better. Follow the instructions and don't skimp on the chassis sealant or else you will get water in the boot.

hi..

first time ive posted on here.. so apologies is its in the wrong area :(
however im investigating wether i can fit a towbar on my 57 gt 150 diesel. its obviously got central exhaust but i swear ive seen one
on a 5 door gt150 before or am i imagining it? :oops: :oops: :D

Contact the major suppliers of the tow bars. They will be able to advise you correctly.
