My car is approaching 72,000 miles and needs a cambelt change and a new water pump, and was quoted £315. It also looks like my dephaser pulley is faulty as it struggles in the mornings to start first time.
Two questions, is the cambelt change quote decent? Also, how much is a dephaser change? Is it costly??

Re: Cambelt and Water
Probably not worth much but over here in Ireland the best quote for the labour only was 120 Euro. I was told there's loads of hassle doing it on my Meggy, but for parts mister-auto.ie have a deal on kits, from circa 130 Euro now.
Usually, their UK branch is cheaper.
